Something to ponder for someone with time, curiosity, and an S10 (which I don't have yet

)
Don't know if the OneKey recovery button on the S10 works like the Lenovo’s "Blue" ThinkVantage button. It has both pre-boot functions and WinXP functions.
For someone that has the original XP install on their S10, how about taking a look in the registry for this key and any info under it:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LENOVO\
Using this WiKI for the ThinkPad line
http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/ThinkPad_Button, the "Blue" Button is mapped so it can be scanned from within WinXP, the registry key that does this is [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\TPHOTKEY\8001]. This runs the associated utility in WinXp:"File"="C:\\Program Files\\IBM\\Access IBM\\aibm.exe" "DispName"="Access IBM".
Referencing the same Wiki, looking under the "System Boot" section gives some explanation of the other pre-windows boot functions that can be lost in a fresh format to a HD : "Hidden Protected Area" & "Rescue & Recovery Partition". I'm thinking some of these same routines are done in the S10 if the BIOS's and "themes" are similar to the other ThinkPad/Lenovo laptops.
Regarding the ThinkPad line, I have successfully copied these areas from another like-model computer and patched them back to a computer whose HD has died and gotten the "Blue" button restored to factory operation. Their is also a maintenance repair disk to patch things back together.
Has anyone run this S10 utility to see what all it does?
