I couldnt wait any longer so I got a black S10e... I hope it doesnt disappoint. I was really looking for a white S10... color aside what are the differences between the two??

I think the only major difference is the screen resolution S10e@1024X576 vs S10@1024x600,
and the color is actually dark gray, not black

thanks.. so the resolution isn't too big of a deal right??? I've never really been a whiz at that kind of stuff... knowing how res specs make a display superior over another. as for the dark gray, even if it's listed as black it'll be a dark charcoal?? I'm concerned that it's gray even though I want black. I'm hoping for a matte black lid. [crosses fingers]

I saw one at Radio Shack and they are very dark gray, almost black. Some of the ones at the lenovo outlet actually say black in the description, so you may get lucky.
As far as the resolution, you will lose maybe a line or two of text on a web page as compared to the S10. Good luck, they are great little computers!

thanks mising, You're the only one responding to my newbie questions. I hope I can install Win7 and SL without any issues.

Win 7 and Snow Leopard should not be a problem if you follow this excellent thread on the Snow Leopard Enabler by vaniii

I have openSuse 11.2, OS X 10.6.2, and WinXP all running fine.

It is a Linux operating system, similar to Ubuntu. It seems to run the best out of all the OSs I have had on my little S10.
It was actually offered as an option on the S-10e a while back.
