Getting a install failed when attempting to put snow leopard enabler 1.1.4 onto the USB drive. Works OK with 1.1.3?

Whenever you get a "install failed", open the log window, let it show all messages, and see where it errors out. Thanks!

Edit: Hopefully fixed in 1.1.5

Maybe you should boot in safe mode (boot, press F8 immediately after the Lenovo logo, press the arrow-down key until you get "Safe mode", press enter).

Patched kernel seems to break VoodooHDA sound driver?

4) download patched kernel from here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?o2w0yunezzy

When I updated to 10.6.2 everything worked fine except I could only boot the Macintosh partition directly - Chameleon 2.0 RC 3 seemed to be broken, when booting using a separate /Volumes/Boot partition on my S10 hard disk.

Swapping the patched kernel quoted above with the 10.6.2 kernel fixes the multi-boot issue with Chameleon but disables any sound capability (can't select it in System Prefs -> Sound and the speaker icon in the Apple Menu bar is greyed out).

I've tried using versions of VoodooHDA from everywhere I can think, including from inside vaniii's S10 Enabler 1.1.8, the VoodooHDA forum, the 'New audio driver with WORKING MIC' forum topic here (viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3249), and other versions I had collected over time. None of these re-enable the sound. I've reinstalled SL and re-updated to 10.6.2, always using the S10 Enabler 1.1.8 which works perfectly in every other respect.

Any ideas? Have I a broken driver or a broken methodology? This has been a busy but unfruitful couple of days puzzling this one over
