s10-2 costs more than originally announced

Postby subrama6 » Wed May 27, 2009 5:38 am

well, the s10-2 is up on lenovo's website, finally, but it starts at $439 instead of the $349 indicated by the press release:

yeah - i'm a little upset because when i saw the s10-2 announcement at the same price, i called and canceled my s10 order and opted to wait for 2 weeks till it went on sale. oh well :)

just wait 3-4 weeks then other retailers will start selling s10-2.
for now it is exclusive to Lenovo.com sale which they control the price.

it will be between $350 and $399 as they advertised soon..
but if you need the item now..you have to pay for some dealer mark up.. :D

that is a good price. but you have to pay tax on most states and that kinda kills the deal. :D

I wonder if they're going to phase out the S10 anytime soon. There's a lot of redundancy between the two models, internally.
