This one looks promising ... $20

Looks like a common module in Dells and lots of driver support available ...

Nice find! A quick search on ebay for BCM92045NMD turned up a number of modules for under $30. They come without cables though, so you'll need to fab one yourself.

Once I get a ship notification on my red S10 I'll buy one and figure something out.

Thanks ... lots of info on e-bay on BCM92045NMD ... That looks like the best form factor ... better than the one I listed.

The module in the FCC pictures used a BCM2046 chip, but the BCM2045 should be the same as far an interface and easier to locate drivers for ...

I hope there is a header for the cable. Hate to find out Lenovo cheaped out on supplying a header for the USB bluetooth as well. I'm not good with a soldering gun.

Good finds!

Hopefully someone will confirm what's inside soon...

I suppose my 10/21 ship delayed ship date will translate into others doing the trial and error on my behalf...

These bluetooth modules are 2.0, appearing to have EDR, but do that have A2DP? (For Stereo headphones)

Here's a super small (AND super cheap) usb bluetooth dongle.

It probably wouldn't look bad on a black S10, either :)

Thanks for this! I checked out their site, and ordered the board and the cable. I'll post back if it works when I get it. I'm getting my white S10 delivered on Thursday 10/2.

I really want the black one, but my ship date on that order is 10/29, and I ordered it on 8/20 at 9:45 pm MT. When I get the black one, I'll decide which one to keep. :)
