Windows 7 S10 HD controller driver?

Postby glacious » Tue Feb 10, 2009 9:59 pm

I installed Windows 7, worked fine. Then installed OSX, which works fine, but kills windows 7 boot loader (can't boot win7 or first partition when selected from Darwin boot loader). I can browser all my windows 7 NTFS drives just fine from OSX.

Anyway, when I run the Windows 7 recovery (booting off install DVD), it does not detect any operating systems to repair. I can't tell if I need to load a driver for it to see my controller/HDD (which is weird because the install found it just fine), or if it just doesn't recognize that any OS's are installed (again, HDD/partitions are in tact, OSX boots fine and can browser all NTFS partitions including Windows 7).

Shouldn't need any driver - at least I didn't when I ran recovery for my dual boot...
