dead my s12?

I need your help, a few months before install Ubuntu netbook remix, later i decide reinstall xp using the recovery button, but the grub is bad, start with the live usb to fix, but you get stuck, remove the battery then switched on the machine and nothing happens, the keyboard only work in combination with FN keys the screen is black and the leds of the harddrive is off, you can help me?

Can you access the S12's BIOS? If not, try a BIOS reset.

Unplug the unit from electricity, disconnect the battery and let the unit sit for 30 minutes. Before rebooting, hold down the power button for several seconds to be sure the unit is totally drained of power. Then reattach the battery and try the power button. You should at least be able to get to the BIOS.

I think your S12 is broken. Contact Lenovo and they will repair it for free. It is under warranty.

And have you tried to boot dvd/cd of linux one more?

I tried with other boot dvd even windows, but it's not working, i call to lenovo and tell me the warranty don't support that, because i been changed de SO, even i disarmed the netbook and doesn't work

And bios setup is accesible? If yes, so ... you can try take out hdd, use reduction and plug it to normal pc. There you will format it, and after format, maybey reinstal will works.

I can't acces to the bios is impossible the screen is black and the keyboard is dead
