Splashtop Alternative?

Splashtop Alternative?

Does anybody know how the QS button implements Splashtop? Is there anyway to substitute any other OS? I tried Chome and think it would be Killer. Using WindiskImager32 and a 2g flash I tried it and dig it. Here's the link - http://chromeos.hexxeh.net/.
1g Ram / 250g HD , MBR formatted / Current OS's -- Os X 10.6.4, Win 7, Ubuntu NBR, Splashtop / Other's I've tried -- XP, MobLin, 10.5 Leopard, Chrome. "Use your Freedom of Choice" -Devo, or possibly just a fear of commitment.
