I've been playing around with Splashtop for a while now and found out how to make the S10 use its full 1024x600 screen resolution instead of the elongated 1024x576 that most versions of Splashtop uses by default. The key is a file called va-915resolution.sqx
, that comes with some versions of splashtop. The attached one is from version 188.8.131.52.
To actually change the resolution and activate the .sqx file above you also need another file, bs-config-extended.sqx
that I've made. This file "unlocks" some extra settings in Splashtop, among them the ability to move the dock to the side of the screen, and change the resolution to something else than 1024x576.
To install, just put the two files in the C:\QSTART.SYS\ folder. (It might be a different drive letter than C depending on where you installed Splashtop, or what OS you are using etc.)
To activate 1024x600 you have to select it in the Screen settings in Splashtop.
If you do not want to change the resolution but still want the extra settings, just use the bs-config-extended.sqx file and it should work.
Enjoy your new non-blurry Splashtop!
