Lenovo Quick Start works on S10, S9 PERFECTLY - 4th updated

No all I did is install version 1.0.17.0 and then copied the CEFULL file over the original and my quickstart works great. I tried running it before I copied the CEFULL file over and got the incomplete installation error. Is there a reason to run the 1.0.16.3 version instead of the newer version?

QS 1.0.17.0 is running with fullscreen 1024*576 when QS 1.0.16.3 is running with 1024*600 on S10. So there is a slight bluring in 1.0.17.0. You should install 1.0.16.3 if you want a sharper display.

I've installed QS 1.0.17.0 plus the patch and it worked perfectly. I agree that the resolution is not the S10's native 1024*600, but I can live with that for now.

I'd replaced my S10's original WiFi card with the Intel 5100 some time ago. Just to let everyone know that the Intel 5100 worked straight away with QS 1.0.17.0

17 worked for me but when I tried going back to 16 last week, I ended up at a empty desktop with a light bluish swirly background.

Did you fully uninstall 17 before going back to 16??

Yes, I did the logical thing.
Installed 17 and added cefull, uninstalled 17 rebooted and installed 16 added cefull booted. (AS NOTED DIDNT WORK)
cursed a few more times, uninstalled 16 rebooted installed 17 added cefull rebooted voila. cept for the graphics config dialogue.

To install 17, you need to overwrite both "QSTART.SYS" (with "CEFULL" inside) and "QSTART.000" in oder to let it works perfectly (fullscreen 1024*576). ("QSTART.SYS" and "QSTART.000" are included in the newest upload "fully patch for S10.zip")

Thanks for your reply, just wanna confirm that did you remove those user data while you were uninstalling version 17??

I just wanted to let you know that I have loaded 1.0.16.3 and the new CEFULL on my 2 S10s and a friend of mine has also successfully loaded his with 1.0.16.3 and the new CEFULL on his S10. All three are running great with razor sharp displays.

Yes I think I told it to not save any data when I uninstalled.
