today I installed the above mentioned new bios version on my S10e with ubuntu 8.10
Improvements:
- display is brighter
- audio noise better, stronger
I did it with a usb-floppy device and a caldera dos boot diskette. extract the exe and copy the phlash16.exe and BIOS.WPH to your floppy-disk. boot from the floppy disk and run the command:
phlash16.exe /C /S /FORCE BIOS.WPH
after 1 minute anything is finished.
