Port Replicator for Netbooks released. Perfect for S10

Century's all-in-one dock gives your netbook a greater sense of value

For those who need a little something more from their netbooks, at least while at home, Century's all-in-one dock should help out in that department. It fits just under the little laptop and features a pop-up fan to help with cooling, 8x DVD-writer, and a slot for a 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD drive, beacuse let's face it, your digitized copy of the complete Doctor Who series probably isn't gonna all fit on your portable. It's compatible with XP and Vista, but no word on how well it'll jibe with Linux. It looks to be on sale now in Japan for ¥9,980 (US $100), and if you're needing some more intimate shots, Akihabara's got a hands-on with it.

Look at where the fan is. That is perfect for the CPU fan of the S10. What do you guys think? Do you even need something like this that goes against the very idea of having a netbook?

A port replicator like this would serve the needs of those who plug their S10 into external accessories at the desk at home or work (like I do with an external 1366x768 monitor at work). I'm dreaming of an ExpressCard-based docking station for the S10 from Lenovo though.
Plants vs. Zombies on the S10 is such a fun stress-buster.

An ExpressCard based one would be OMGasmic. I can picture one similar to the one linked to here but with the express card connector swivelling out into a hinge for almost seamless integration. *drools*

No 1920x1600  I doubt the one from the OP supports it either

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to stick to plugging in my powered usb hub (w/ wireless keyboard, usb soundcard, usb powered fan stand, external hard drive) and vga cable for now.
