Selling s10e hackintosh. What's it worth?

Postby chirho » Wed Sep 16, 2009 1:12 pm

I'm considering selling my s10e hackintosh, probably on eBay. I'm not sure how much it'd fetch though. Anyone got any thoughts? Here are the specs:

Lenovo s10e - black
1.6ghz intel atom
2.5gb ram
250gb 5400rpm HD
Bluetooth
802.11n (airport card)
6 cell official battery + spare 3 cell official battery
UK power supply (and keyboard)
all original manuals, and packaging
OSX 10.6.1 Snow Leopard installed (everything but Ethernet and sleep working)
original Snow Leopard and iLife '09 discs included (to keep within eBay's rules)
it's in great condition. Small crack on display case which is purely cosmetic. I fixed it by supergluing it and covering with black electrical tape.

I'm in the UK, so GBP evaluations are best. Thanks guys :). I'm not advertising it for sale here, but if anyone is interested, let me know.

Maybe $300, but you'd have to include the retail OSX installation DVD or it will be an illegal sale.

You mean £300. Correct?

Oh, no, I meant USD, but that's just the low-end price around here (eBay and Craigslist that I've seen). I just don't think the OSX installation adds much value to it, maybe the cost of the installation DVD could be rolled in, but otherwise it's just a used S10e.

That was my thinking. It comes with iWork and OSX. Surely that adds a bit of value. If not, may as well reinstall Windows and sell the OSX disks separately.
