Strange white screen crash

Hi can anyone help? My s10 suddenly started crashing - no obvious reason, no s/w update, didn't drop it, or whatever - and the crash is unlike ones I've seen before. The screen just goes white. There is no error message (that I can see!) and the machine appears to keep on working (I can access files over the wireless network from another machine) but, since I can't see what's going on, I have to shut it down with the on/off button.

The problem is intermittent. Sometimes it boots to a white screen, sometimes it runs for hours before the white screen comes - but I usually get one eventually. Sometimes it seems to happen when I move the screen - but definitely not always.

Has anyone seen this before? Can you help?
