Firmware Fix for Broken Webcams Now on Support Site

the camera.exe program will not fix every camera.
the point of the camera.exe is to restore the firmware back to original.
there were 2 other firmware updates on the lenovo website.
basically you have to go back to original before you try the others.
eg. if you have firmware 2 (just an example) you cant go to firmware 1 only firmware 3.
what the camera.exe will do is revert your cam firmware so for back that if you camera isnt fixed you can try the ones on the website, oldest first.

hello,
i bought my s10-2 yesterday. but my web cam shows gray screen not working.
i can see at the device manager. installed the latest drivers.
i saw firmware update, but lenovo removed this update from their site.
so i need a firmware update to get my web cam working. can somebody upload those firmware please?
i cannot find it anywhere

I have uploaded the file you need already... its the camera zip or rar..
the other firmware updates are in the drivers page...

sorry, but i don't know if i am making a mistake.
I am looking at the US drivers page. there are only drivers for the camera,which I installed and have no success.
Do I need to look other regional sites of lenovo like chinese or something.
because I really cannot find firmwares anywhere in the drivers page.
I would really be glad if you help me through this, as I dont hav any other solution for this.

im having some kinds of problem here that looks a little like yours.

hope someone can help me, here goes.

I never updated anything, like camera firmware or so, suddenly my camera stopped working on my s10e tried this camera.exe but when the bison update tool comes up and i press update, the program simply tells me to switch the webcam on by pressing Fn+F6... i can´t find my webcam anywhere on the pc, like it never existed, and when i press Fn+esc, it says that camera is not yet installed, used it for over a year now on skype and other programs, and i miss it alot.

I read the thread and I understand it. I have only one question, can anyone please help me to find this 14.05 firmware on the lenovo page? I am getting crazy, I can not found it. I am using a S10 with 3.10 firmware and this seems not to work.

Really crazy, most of the IBM pages are no more working, I made now a big round and every link is redirekted to lenovo page and there are no firmwares downloadable, only driver updates for windows. Please help!

On the LENOVO support page only firmware 14CN94WW ist avaible!

Some days ago I had a direct link to an IBM page with firmware 14C97WW that is now installed on my S10.
I remember, the link can be found in the first post from the S10Enabler.

Only firmware for EasyCamera is now needed...
