But oh, last month, a few weeks short of its 1st birthday, it got hit by a Mitsubishi Montero Sport SUV at a U-turn (other driver's fault), and insurance is dragging its feet in processing our claims.

Good looking car. Hope it was a light accident and no one was injured too bad.

As for the car, tell the insurance company to just replace it with a Evolution X.

(by the way: it's very impressive to visit the Audi factory in Ingolstadt in Germany )
