What type of car do you drive?

Postby SystemJinx » Fri Sep 05, 2008 2:46 pm

For those of you that drive, what kind of car do you drive?

My daily driver is a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis. It's big and cozy.

'06 Honda Civic hybrid. I drive ~100 miles round trip to work. I can get 50 mpg if I drive right, but I don't drive right;-)

Not a lot of drivers on this site, I see. Am I surrounded by people too young to drive?

Or, surrounded by people who are too embarrassed to tell. ;)

I'm not embarrassed! (though I should be I think)

1997 Ford Ranger, with a big dent in the side that doesn't bother me a bit, cause it's PAID for.

Previously a 2004 Infiniti G35 6MT but got rid of it after about a year cause I woke up and realized my money is better spent elsewhere than on a fast depreciating peice of metal and expensive auto insurance. Sold it for cash and bought the Ranger below book value, no regrets. Nice car though. :D

Wow, you went from a G35 6 speed to a Ford Ranger??? I would not have been able to do it. Nothing wrong with the Ranger but that's a drastic change. A fast sport sedan, or coupe depending on which one you had, to a slow truck. I'm impressed.

Haha.

I drive a 2005 Acura RSX Type-S.

I'm a bit of a car nut. Combining computers and cars in one forum... this could spell danger for me!

Sweet, Im that guy likes all those things that you just spoke about. I bought a 06 Land Rover LR3 when I first came home from the desert. But my daily commuter is a 95 Neon that I bought to drive into the city everyday. It was all of $400 and begs to be bumped like its in Nascar. Its kinda funny, poeple look at me weird because of the Land Rover, hell it took hours of standing in the dealer before someone could help me. I figured I would never be able to afford it again so now or never. I dont regret it a bit.
Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.
