Postby axionjaxon » Sat Jul 10, 2010 10:51 am

Does anyone know if you can use the on-board ericsson 3G modem that comes with S10 from AT&T in mac OSX? Im sure it can be done booting from Windows in boot camp, etc.

Alternatively, if I wipe XP and install OSX, how can I install the Lenovo recovery environment on my windows partition?

I also have the ericsson F3507g and it's working in MacOSX. You just need to remove the PIN, put the correct username, password and APN and it'll will work. No extra .kext file needed.

remove pin- yes (sw or cell phone) pin is sim card function no modem function
username/password- mostly providers have it blank or no matters about name and pass.. simple ask provider
APN is provider(operator) point which give u "operator network/internet) mostly is "internet" in my country like t-mobile have "internet.t-mobile.cz" etc... again - ask operator/provider or check provider website - section data settings or mobile connection settings

just ask "uncle google" or wiki like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Access_Point_Name
