How to:
0. Install VoodooHDA.PrefPane
1. Open System Prefs and navigate to VoodooHDA pane....correct settings(iMix set to 0%) and (PCM set to 100%)
2. Download voodooHDA helper
3. Copy the application Voodoo HDA Helper to /Applications/Utilities/
4. Copy the folder VoodooHDA to Your_OS_X_disk/Library/
this is you root level Library. not your User Library. this may be your problem
5. Add application Voodoo HDA Helper to list of login items in
System Preferences > Accounts > Login Items
I selected to hide @ Login

Not working for me..I wonder if it depends on the model I got S10-2 model 2957
the apple script is simply not doing anything and yes I installed it in the right folder
and followed the directions..is there a way that you can share the apple script guide so we can create our own..

Works on all S10 models. Double check the instructions and directories you installed the files to.

Same error, it search in /Users/chaosscorpion+/Library/Preferences/VoodooHDA.settings path, but the correct name should be "chaoosscorpion" without "+".
I followed the guide perfectly, how can i fix this?

I am stuck at step:
"Copy the folder VoodooHDA to Your_OS_X_disk/Library/".

I CAN NOT find any folder VoodooHDA.

Where am I supposed to find the folder VooDooHDA?

does this fix need to be applied after updates? I haven't updated my S10e for a while. I would like to update it to 10.6.6. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

The app worked well with my s10-2 running SL 10.6.4. But when I upgraded to SL 10-6.5, it won't work anymore. I tried reinstalling the app, following all the instructions, but I can't get it running. What went wrong? Thanks.
