Still struggling with this. Anyone point me toward what I am doing incorrectly?
How to:
0. Install VoodooHDA.PrefPane
1. Open System Prefs and navigate to VoodooHDA pane....correct settings(iMix set to 0%) and (PCM set to 100%)
2. Download voodooHDA helper
3. Copy the application Voodoo HDA Helper to /Applications/Utilities/
4. Copy the folder VoodooHDA to Your_OS_X_disk/Library/ this is you root level Library. not your User Library. this may be your problem
5. Add application Voodoo HDA Helper to list of login items in
System Preferences > Accounts > Login Items
I selected to hide @ Login
