somehow my camera stopped working with the last update :/

Hmm . . . ran into some trouble trying to get Skype working, actually. Does anybody have a way to get the camera started at all in 10.6.3? I couldn't do it using iChat.

photo booth still works in 10.6.3 s10 4333
you have to load photo booth, then ichat, preview camera, then tab back to photo booth.
I think the real problem is that when you just load photo booth alone, the camera isn't on. there is probably a terminal command to turn it on or maybe a setting file, i don't know. the learning curve for macs is like easy and then a wall straight up

Um . . . yeah. This is the exact issue my original post addresses. And that process is exactly what the AppleScript does.

interesting thing... when i had my s10e i didnt have to install this.. now that I have an s10 I needed this to get my camera to load in photobooth...

Hey macabuzer,

did you need to run this AppleScript to get your photobooth to load it's camera? If not what camera firmware did you use and how can I tell which hardware(camera) I have installed? Possible to swap the cameras?
