backup with BartPE

Postby martytoo » Sun Dec 13, 2009 3:55 pm

I have used BartPE as a boot disk to backup my XP machines for quite a few years. I made a BartPE USB stick today on the Lenovo and it can't see any of the partitions except the virtual partition X that BartPE makes and the partition of the USB stick. Maybe I have to make BartPE on another machine with a CD?

We use Bart PE extensively at work, and every time we get a new model of PC, we have to update the drivers on our Bart disks
to either see the NIC or the SATA drives. I will check to see if my Bart disk sees my partitions, and if so, I will post the drivers you will need to add.

Actually, I just noticed you are uning a flashdrive, so this should be easier. Go here:http://www.box.net/shared/bmi2ftaxj8 to download drivers folder, unzip with 7zip and copy it to your flashdrive into the /i386/system32 folder.
