I have search and tried several ways to get it working, with no sucess. Any suggestion on getting the B43 /4312 Broadcom Wireless NIC going on Fedora 11?![]()
Fedora installed almost all drivers itself, only wireless didn’t work. However, it is enough to type ‘yum install broadcom-wl.noarch’ (rpmfusion.org) to solve the driver problem. That simple.

here is my current 2.6.29.4 .config
- before using and compiling it for yourself, keep a look at charsets and modules to fit your own needs.
p.s.: "The extension config is not allowed.", "The extension txt is not allowed." ... damn ... what about mime-types?

Found this via Google:Fedora installed almost all drivers itself, only wireless didn’t work. However, it is enough to type ‘yum install broadcom-wl.noarch’ (rpmfusion.org) to solve the driver problem. That simple.

I'm also testing Sabayon 4.2 (Gnome), but I'm less impressed, mostly just frustrated with the trackpad. It often seems to freeze up or just not have consistent sensitivity. But it does seem to work other than that, including wifi.
